What is A LEVEL?
Advanced level qualifications (known as A levels) are subject-based qualifications that can lead to university, further study, training, or work.
Our approach to Cambridge A Levels aims to foster the following qualities in learners:
Confidence: We encourage students to feel self-assured in using mathematical language and techniques to pose inquiries, explore concepts, and communicate effectively.
Responsibility: Students are encouraged to take charge of their own learning journey, applying their mathematical knowledge and skills to engage in reasoning, problem-solving, and collaborative work.
Reflectiveness: We promote the development of reflective learners who can make connections within the realm of mathematics and across various subjects. They are also skilled in evaluating methods and verifying solutions.
Innovation: Our approach nurtures innovation among students, empowering them to creatively and flexibly apply their knowledge and understanding to tackle unfamiliar problems with efficiency.
Engagement: We inspire students to be captivated by the beauty, patterns, and structural aspects of mathematics. This curiosity leads them to explore the myriad applications of mathematics in society and the economy.
